Happy Tuesday to everybody! Late at night, I know, but I had a good day (not that I normally don't...). Anyways, I did some shopping today that I'm proud of. Remember, I didn't have to buy anything specific this week (crap! Just remembered I forgot my paper plates!). Here is what I did today:

Walgreens

Xcel Laundry detergent $3.49 x3

-used Walgreens friends and family 15% c available on Facebook off total purchase

-used a 3 for $1.99 in ad c

My Total: $4.75 and recieved a $10 catalina for the vitamins

My Total Savings: 89% with a $1 cat for later!

My Total: $.79 and received a $1 cat from the sauces again!

My Total Savings: 90% with a $1 cat for later!

Prego Pasta Sauce $2.19 x2 (became $.99 after preferred card savings)

-used $1 off 2 c

-used 1 Albertsons doubler

Kikkoman Teriyaki Sauce $1.99

-used $1 c

My Total: $.98

Original Cost: $6.37

My Total Savings: 85% (please note, I had another doubler so this transaction should have cost me nothing, but the Manager helping me wouldn't let me walk away with $0 as my cost. I chose to remove the doubler because she was being very helpful after another cashier was trying to tell me "no" on my free items)

My Total Left to Spend This Week: $17.40

I did forget to buy my paper plates at Walmart today, so I'll have to do that later this week. Tomorrow I hope to hit Safeway for a cereal sale they will be having. General Mills cereal will be $1.49 and I have a bunch of loaded ecoupons and paper, so hopefully I'll get some cereal for $.49! That would be great!

I also discovered I have more coupon inserts from the paper to clip. I will probably do that tonight while I space off watching "The Gates" (Oooh! Spooky! Not really, but it gives me something to do till I zone out. I miss my Hubby when its bedtime.)
