I am running scary low on diapers in my stockpile so I was pretty excited for this deal. AND it turns out to be way better than I thought.

Coupons.com: The Must Prints!

I don't know how many of you are like me. I never check coupons.com for new coupons at the beginning of the month. The reason being is that, if I do, then I end up printing too many coupons that I usually don't use. So what I normally do is only print the ones I know I will be using. Of course, this varies from week to week depending on store sales.  The problem with this is that some of those coupons I want are gone by the time I go to get them. 

To avoid this and to help anyone else in the same boat as I am, I plan on selecting few coupons each week that I deem are a printing must. That way, when we need them, there's no worries about them being gone. Now you may not agree with the coupons I've selected, but if there's one that catches your eye, then go ahead and print. :)

RiteAid Single Check Rebates

I love Rite Aid's Single Check Rebate program. I have scored many freebies with a coupon and a rebate! Here is a little more info for any new Rite Aid shoppers or if you just need a little refresher :)

What is a Single Check Rebate (SCR)?
Rite Aid has an incredible rebate program. Each month, they publish a booklet containing all the qualifying rebate items, including which dates they are good for. Some are good for only a certain week, some are good all month. All you have to do is sign up at Riteaid.com for the program--purchase qualifying items and submit your receipts online.....so easy!

If an item has an available rebate, when should I buy it?
In each weekly Rite Aid ad, they will indicate certain items that qualify for rebates. If you see something in the booklet you are interested in, chances are, sometime that month, it will be featured, either at a reduced price or completely free after rebate. For example, if an item is $2.99, but eligible for a rebate of $2.99, the item will be totally free. The best part is that you can combine this sale with a manufacturer coupon and actually make money.

How do I submit for my rebates?
After each purchase you make during the month, submit the information from your receipt online. Continue to submit until the end of the qualifying dates (usually the end of the month). Your rebate total will continue to increase after each receipt entered and will be broken down per item. After submitting your receipts, there is usually about a 48 hour wait period until your rebates will show up. You only have to submit your information online, you do not have to send in your receipt. This means you can sometimes "double dip" with a mail-in rebate that does require an original receipt.

How do I request my rebate check?
At the end of the month, request your rebate check by simply pressing a button. Make sure to request only at the end of the month and you can only submit once each month!! If you request it too early, either before making purchases or before entering a receipt, it is too late. You will receive a check in the mail in about 3-4 weeks. Several times a month, there will be offers from different companies that are still included in the Single Check Rebate program. For example, Proctor & Gamble will offer a gift card or a coupon booklet or Kimberly Clark will offer a free pack of Huggies diapers. These offers generally have to be requested separately, but as soon as you qualify, you can request them instead of waiting until the end of the month.

Tips and miscellaneous information:
* Make sure you purchase the correct item (size and type) and within the correct time period. If you buy the correct item but in the wrong size, you will not qualify for the rebate.
* You can use a coupon with a Single Check Rebate item. If an item is priced at $7.99 and has an available rebate of $7.99, you can use any coupon on that item and still receive the full rebate. You can even use a "free" coupon, meaning you will pay nothing for the item, but will still receive a full rebate.
* Even if an item is free after rebate, you will still pay the applicable tax.
* Don't rush out and buy an item at the beginning of the month just because it has a qualifying rebate. If there is a rebate on an item, sometime during that rebate period the item will be featured on sale.
