Lovin' The Rewards!

One of my favorite stores is Albertsons. They have this wonderful rewards program that I love using to my advantage. Simply get 1 point for every dollar spent before coupons. Once you've earned 5000 points you will receive a $5 reward towards your next purchase (this prints at the bottom of your receipt). The points are racked up in quarters so you have approximately 3 months to earn your $5 before the points start over and before the reward expires (this makes it easy to wait for a good sale and some sale items are worth double points). You can also earn multiple rewards within the quarter. To learn more about their reward program go HERE.

I shop at Albertsons at least once a week. If I don't go, my hubby does. I have to say, we earn points rather fast. Coupons allow you to spend less and reach that 5000 point value quickly. My husband hits Albertsons for me to pick up bread and milk on a regular basis (we do have 4 kids). He also will stop there to feed his pop habit by buying two 24 cases of Diet Pepsi in a single trip (I don't encourage this) and we also use Albertsons for putting gas in our cars. Not only do we earn points for our $5 rewards, but we also accrue a gas discount.

Here's how I used my $5 rewards to get super cheap toilet paper last night:

I did the same transaction twice:

2 Angel Soft Toilet Paper $5.99
(buy 2 get $1 cat oyno)
1 Mission Artisan Tortillas $2.49
-used 2 $1/1 Angel Soft from HERE
-used 1 $1/1 Artisan Torlillas from past tear pad
-used 3 doublers (twice the value coupon)
Total: $8.47
-used $5 reward
-used $2 cat from last week
Total: $1.47 +tax

So after coupons, doublers, catalinas, and rewards, I spent $.49 (92% savings) for each item and I'm pretty sure
I'M OKAY WITH THAT!!!! :)
And I have a good amount of TP to add to my stockpile (three of my kids are girls. Yes, save me now).

Huggies Enjoy the Ride Rewards and FREE Diaper Coupons

I absolutely love the Huggies "Enjoy the Ride" Rewards! Over the past year and a half I have redeemed my points for coupons for free diapers and free wipes! I also redeemed points for a free travel potty seat since my oldest is starting to potty train.
If you look inside each package of Huggies (diapers, wipes, pull-ups, etc.) there is a little yellow sticker attached to the inside. All you do is enter this code at www.enjoytheriderewards.com and you will start accumulating points to redeem for prizes.
My favorite prize is FREE diapers!!

For 300 points you can have a coupon sent to you for a free jumbo pack of diapers. (It is available now if you already use Huggies rewards!)
Each package of diapers has a set amount that it is worth. You can find a whole list of the point values of each Huggies product here.

My Fred Meyer Shopping Trip and Why You Should Use Store Rewards!

I love the Fred Meyer Rewards program. Everything in this picture was FREE! Thank you Fred Meyer for buying me groceries this week :)You don't need a Fred Meyer rewards card to get the sale prices in the store so many people have not signed up for one. Make sure you are NOT one of these people! Every pre-coupon dollar you spend at Fred Meyer earns you points. When you accumulate more than 500 points in one quarter you qualify for a reward. My reward from this last quarter was a coupon for $13.39--which means I had 1339 points. Along with this coupon, I also received a $2.00 any toy purchase coupon; a 20% off clothing coupon; a $2.00 produce coupon; and a $2.00 frozen foods coupon. Here is how I took advantage of my rewards this week:

Tortilla chips $1.68

Fred Meyer brand baby puffs $1.87
-$.50 ecoupon

bananas $2.97
-$2.00 reward coupon

carrots $1.29

Fred Meyer salad B1G1 free $1.88
-$.40 ecoupon

2 bags sweet potato fries $2.68 each
-$1.00 printable x2
-$2.00 reward coupon

2 Challenge butter $2.00 (raincheck from 2 weeks ago)
-$.75/1 blinkie coupon x2

total: $10.65
I paid with my rewards coupon and now I still have $2.74 left to spend!

I also received this store coupon from the catalina machine so keep your eye out for one! It is a coupon for $5.00 off any $5.00 or more Cars 2 Mattel or Fisher Price toy. I am going to hold on to it and see if I can get a FREE toy for a cute little nephew of mine :o)
