Huggies Diapers $5.00 at BabiesRUs Friday and Saturday!

Huggies Little Movers Santa diapers are only $5.00 for a jumbo pack Friday and Saturday at BabiesRUs! I know I have some $2.00/1 coupons in my binder from previous Huggies packs.

There was also a regional $2.00/1 coupon in one of the recent SS inserts --I didn't get this one :(

Here is my question though....is it tacky for my little one to wear these after Christmas if I stock up on them? LOL :)

Huggies Enjoy the Ride Rewards and FREE Diaper Coupons

I absolutely love the Huggies "Enjoy the Ride" Rewards! Over the past year and a half I have redeemed my points for coupons for free diapers and free wipes! I also redeemed points for a free travel potty seat since my oldest is starting to potty train.
If you look inside each package of Huggies (diapers, wipes, pull-ups, etc.) there is a little yellow sticker attached to the inside. All you do is enter this code at www.enjoytheriderewards.com and you will start accumulating points to redeem for prizes.
My favorite prize is FREE diapers!!

For 300 points you can have a coupon sent to you for a free jumbo pack of diapers. (It is available now if you already use Huggies rewards!)
Each package of diapers has a set amount that it is worth. You can find a whole list of the point values of each Huggies product here.

Keep your eye out for more posts this week on rewards. Did you know Pampers has a reward system too?

How to Stock-up on Diapers (RiteAid trip)

With 2 in diapers, I go through a lot of them! My stock-up price for a jumbo pack of diapers is anything less than $4.00. This week at RiteAid I was able to get them for $3.43/pack!

This week at RiteAid, spend $30 on Kimberly Clark items, receive $10 +up; spend $50 receive another $10 and spend $70 receive another $20 for a total of $40 in +ups. I split this into 3 seperate transactions so I could roll my +ups.

Transaction 1:
4 jumbo packs Huggies $9.99 each
-$2.00 from home mailer
-(3) $1.50 from 9/11 SS
paid $33.46, received $10 +up
**this would have been less but I left my $4.00 +up at home and I didn't have any ink to print off a $1.00 RiteAid coupon :(

Transaction 2:
3 jumbo packs
-(2) $2.00 from previous packs
-$1.50 from 9/11 SS
-$10 +up from first transaction
paid $14.47, received $10 +up

Transaction 3:
1 jumbo pack
1 Tom's deodorant $3.99 **needed so I could use my $10.00 +up**
-$1.50 from 9/11 SS
-$1.00 Tom's from 9/11 SS
- $10 +up from 2nd transaction
paid $1.48, received $1.00 +up from Tom's and a $20.00 +up!

What is your stock-up price for diapers?

My diaper stash....by request ;)

I had a request to show off my diaper stash and to share my savings. So here are a few pictures (I really need to get my camera back. my phone just sucks!):

I know this looks a little crazy....what is probably even more crazy is I am wondering if I can insure my diaper stockpile, lol :) If there were ever a fire in my house you will find me throwing packs of diapers out the window!

Keep in mind I have one in diapers and another one on the way--hopefully this next week! So with two in diapers this really isn't going to last very long.
I currently have 31 jumbo packs, 1 small box, and 2 large boxes of diapers. I go through about 1 1/2 - 2 jumbo packs a week right now. So multiply that by 2 and this is really about 3 months worth of diapers.

I read somewhere that cloth diapers were cheaper and so I looked into it. Anything to save some money! The article I read that was in favor of cloth diapers said it would only cost about $400/year. That seems pretty reasonable. It included buying all of the diapers, the water cost, and the special detergent costs.

I figured out about what I spent in diapers this last year (just on one kid....not counting my current stockpile) and I realized that I saved more money by using disposable than I did cloth. Plus it meant less laundry for me and for those of you that know me, you know laundry is my worst enemy.

This last year I bought diapers when I could get them for less than $3.50/pack. So if I use that as my price for each, and went through 1.5 packs per week, I spent roughly $5.25/week or $252 for the year. That is a savings of almost $150.00!! And I didn't have to do any extra laundry :)

I can see why people go cloth though. If I would have paid full price for each pack of diapers, lets say that is $9.99/jumbo pack, I would have spent around $15.00/week or $720 for the year. ouch.

Another reason I put the effort into couponing for diapers, is I am able to get name brand diapers for less than I would pay for store brand. I know these work and I don't have to switch from brand to brand to find something that doesn't leak and doesn't give my kid a rash.

Saving on diapers is what started my coupon adventures and it is part of the reason that I can be a stay at home mommy to one, soon to be two, beautiful little girls. So if any of you need help saving or want to get started, let us know! We would love to help you save money!!!!

Diapers at RiteAid

As most of you know, RiteAid has Huggies Diapers on sale right now for $8.99.
We have just learned this last week that Kimberly Clark with most likely be raising prices in the future on their products. Sad for all of us, so if you can, now is the time to stock up.
So the promo running at RiteAid right now is this:
Spend $40 on these participating Kimberly Clark items and you'll receive a $10 +up.

Depends $11.99
Kotex pads or U by Kotex 2/$7
Huggies Jumbo pack Diapers, Pull ups, or Goodnights $8.99
Kleenex Facial Tissue or Conttonelle Moist Wipes 2/$4
Cottonelle Bath Tissue 2/$5
Scott Bath Tissue $7.49

If you are stocking up on diapers, you will need to purchase 5 packages total to get over $40.
Below are some scenarios that will work. I will post the most OOP one first and move to the least OOP last. The great thing about this promo is you do not have to purchase all your items in one transaction.

Scenario #1:
Buy 5 Huggies Jumbo packs at $8.99
-use 5 $1.50 Blinkie's found by diapers
Total: $37.50 and receive a $10 +up ($5.59 a pack after +up)

Scenario #2
Buy 5 Huggies Jumbo packs at $8.99
-use 5 $2/1 c from HERE
Total: $34.95 and receive a $10 +up ($4.99 a pack after +up)

Now to make these the best buy you possibly can get you will want to add a few things. If you have any $1 VV coupons, or one or two $3/$15 survey coupon from previous receipts, you will be able to do the following:

Scenario #3 (with 1 $3/$15)
Buy 5 Huggie Jumbo packs $8.99
-use 5 $2/1 Huggies from HERE
-use 1 $1 VV coupon
-use 1 $3/$15 Survey coupon
Total: $30.95 and receive a $10 +up ($4.19 a pack after +up)

Scenario #4 (with 2 $3/$15 and separate transactions)
T1
Buy 2 Huggies Jumbo packs $8.99
-use 2 $2/1 Huggies from HERE
-use 1 $1 VV
-use 1 $3/$15 Survey coupon
Total: $9.98

T2
Buy 3 Huggies Jumbo packs $8.99
-use 3 $2/1 Huggies from HERE
-use 1 $1 VV
-use 1 $3/$15 Survey coupon
Total: $16.97 and receive a $10 +up

Total OOP: $26.95 and receive a $10 +up ($3.39 each after +up)

*Now to make it even better:
I always recommend using the same amount of +ups to purchase your items that you know you'll get back. If you can do that and have 2 survey coupons you will only pay $16.95 out of pocket and get the $10 +up so it's actually $6.95 OOP ($1.39 a pack)!!!!

Now these survey coupons have been randomly printing at the bottom of receipts for about a month now. If you don't know if you've gotten one, pull your receipts out and take a look. They are definitely worth having, survey has to be done within 14 days of purchase, and will expire 14 days after survey is completed.

I hope this is helpful for those of you needing diapers. It may be the last good deal we'll see in a long time.

Happy Couponing!
