I went in to Kmart today to sign up for my rewards card and thought I would ask one of the cashiers a little about the promotion. she had no idea what I was talking about. I even pointed out the sign that was sitting on the customer service counter that stated the promotion was going on.....still no idea. so my guess is your mileage will vary on this! this week P&G is also running a catalina promo at Kmart....spend $35 get a $10 CAT. remember that this is spend $35 before coupons! so you can basically double dip on the savings--especially since P&G coupons came out in Sundays paper! here is what a transaction could look like:

Kmart doubles were a success! The cashier had no idea what we were talking about so she called over a supervisor who had no idea what we were talking about--even though there was a sign on the customer service desk :)
we thought we would try it anyway, and the computer automatically takes off the double--how sweet is that!?! just remember to hand over the coupons you want doubled first, because it will double the first five coupons scanned. So here is how my transaction went down:
bought 36 ct. tampax pearl tampons $7.49 x3 = $22.47bought simply venus disposable razors $6.00
bought satin care shave gel $2.50
bought Crest mouthwash (with bonus--woot woot!) $4.99
bought papmers baby wipes $2.99
(the kotex U was four girly supplies in a case for .99 and I had a $1.00 coupon that was about to expire, so I thought I found quite a good bonus!)
TOTAL: $39.94
used 3 $2.00 coupons doubled for tampons
used 1 $2.00 coupon doubled for razor
used 1 $2.00 coupon doubled for crest
(total of five doubled coupons)
used 1 $.55 coupon for shave gel
used 1 $.50 coupon for baby wipes
used 1 $1.00 coupon for kotex (made it free)
TOTAL OOP: $17.89 (plus tax)
And I recieved a $10.00 catalina for my next order!! Makes this transaction 80% savings!
