I just got back from Walgreens and am feeling pretty excited! They have Secret Soothing Effects Calming Garden or Invigoratin Rain deodorant on clearance for $2.59.....but get this--it is part of the Venus/Secret $3.00 register reward promo they are running this week! so pay $2.59 to get $3.00! I couldn't pass up free deodorant!
My favorite part of this deal, the RR is ROLLING!!!! thats right! use the first RR to pay for the second deodorant to lower your OOP! woot woot! (just make sure you find a filler item.)
I will break down for you what I just did in 4 transactions.
T1:
4 boxes assorted Kotex-U girly supplies 2/$7.00
1 deodorant $2.59
-$2.00 x4 (walgreens coupon)
-$1.00 x 4 Kotex (Sunday's paper)
-$3.00 RR (got this one last week)
total OOP: $3.03 after tax
received $3.00 RR
AND recieved a catalina for one free box of tampons up to $4.99 value--complete bonus!
T2:
1 dial bodywash $3.99
1 deodorant $2.59
-$1.00 dial coupon
-$3.00 RR from previous transaction
total OOP: $3.15 after tax
received $3.00 RR from dial
received $3.00 RR from deodorant
T3:
1 dial bodywash $3.99
1 deodorant $2.59
-$1.00 dial coupon
-$3.00 deodorant RR from previous transaction
total OOP: $3.15 after tax

1 container gerber graduates puffs $3.19 (could have found a cheaper filler item, but Emma LOVES these!)

So my total OOP today was $12.34 but I also have 3 $3.00 RR's and a coupon for free Tampons!
Original total: $38.37
Total Savings today: $40.02
That's amazing! Do you have to do a separate transaction for each deodorant? Or could I buy 3 deodorants in one transaction and get 9.00 worth of RRs?
ReplyDeleteUnfortunantly you have to do these in seperate transactions; you will only get one RR if you do them all at once. But it is rolling. So if you can find an item for $.41 you can use your first RR to pay for the second deodorant and still get another RR.
